How Laser Hair Removal Works

The system is simple: It works in the same principles that lasers and light energy do to absorb and target cells where there is colour present in the skin.

This light energy of the laser passes over the skin and converts to heat, this damages the area that is being targeted - these systems send out lots of wavelengths in every pulse of light instead of just one.

This means that penetration is maximised and the laser system that we use filters out and refines the energy output for effective treatment of larger areas.

The result is enhanced penetration and targeting of the lower layers of the dermis without damaging the epidermis.

There is no downtime; many clients will come and have their sessions in their lunchtime.

Laser Hair Removal Treatments Required

The number of treatments that will be needed depend on the area, the hair's thickness and of course, your own hair growth cycle. Usually, around a minimum of 6 treatment sessions are required to achieve hair loss as desired.

There is usually anywhere between 4 - 6 week intervals between each session depending on the body part being treated to make sure that the hairs in each stage of their growth cycle are disabled.
