Science & Intensity Levels (CO2)
The Science of Fractional CO2
We utilize advanced Fractional CO2 Laser technology, widely considered the "Gold Standard" in dermatology for treating textured acne scars and deep wrinkles. Unlike older lasers that burn the entire skin surface, our technology creates thousands of microscopic thermal channels deep into the dermis. This triggers the body’s natural healing response, stimulating massive collagen production to "fill in" scars and smooth texture from the inside out.
One Laser. Three Intensities.
We customize the depth of the CO2 energy to match your skin concerns and downtime availability:
- Level 1: The 'Refresh' (Light)Best For: Sun damage, uneven tone, and open pores.Downtime: 3-4 days (Redness and mild dryness).
- Level 2: The 'Resurface' (Medium)Best For: Fine lines, crepey skin, and mild atrophic scarring.Downtime: 5-7 days (Bronzing and peeling).
- Level 3: The 'Scar Repair' (Deep)Best For: Deep rolling acne scars, boxcar scars, and surgical scar revision.Downtime: 7-10+ days (Requires social downtime for maximum results).
Is the treatment painful?
We use a powerful topical anaesthetic cream applied 45 minutes before your procedure to ensure maximum comfort. Most clients describe the sensation as a prickling heat, which is very manageable.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on your individual needs and goals. Most clients see optimal results after 3-6 sessions, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. During your consultation, we'll create a personalized treatment plan tailored to you.
Can I wear makeup afterward?
We recommend avoiding makeup for at least 24 hours after treatment to allow your skin to breathe and heal properly. After this period, you can resume your normal skincare and makeup routine.
I'm unsure if the treatment is right for me, what shall I do?
We offer general consultations at no cost. Just fill out the enquiry form and let us know or click skin consultation in the menu
Is it safe for my skin type?
CO2 laser is incredibly effective, but it requires caution on darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick 4-6) due to the risk of pigmentation changes. We require a mandatory consultation and patch test for every client to ensure your safety before we proceed.
Do you have finance options?
Yes, we offer flexible finance options through Klarna. Please enquire to learn more.
What is the difference between "Full Face" and "Half Face"?
Full Face (£300): Covers the entire face, including forehead, cheeks, nose, chin, and around the mouth.
Half Face (£175): Focuses on a specific problem area, typically the cheeks and jawline (for acne scarring) or the lower face (for smoker’s lines).
How long do results last?
The results are long-lasting. Because the laser stimulates your body's own collagen production, the improvements in skin tightness and texture can last for several years. Maintenance sessions once a year are recommended to keep your skin looking its best.
