Keep Skin Cool & Protected
Expect redness, swelling and oozing — this is normal healing. Apply Vaseline or prescribed ointment every 1–2 hours. Avoid makeup, sunlight, heat and exercise. Clean gently with cool water only.
Days 3–7
Peeling Phase — Do Not Pick
Skin will peel as new tissue forms underneath. Do not pick or pull at peeling skin. Keep moisturising generously. Avoid all active skincare products and stay out of direct sunlight.
Weeks 2–8
SPF & Gentle Skincare Only
New skin is extremely photosensitive. Apply SPF 50 every morning, even on cloudy days. Avoid retinoids, acids and exfoliants for at least 6 weeks. Return for your post-treatment review as scheduled.
