Consultation and Assessment

Your consultation happens on the day. We use specialist scanning technology to carry out a digital skin analysis of your mole, screening for any irregularities before treatment. If everything looks good, we proceed with removal straight away in the same appointment.

Same-Day Treatment

Once your mole is assessed and confirmed as suitable, we remove it there and then. If you have multiple moles, we can treat as many as possible in the same session, so you only need one visit.

After Your Treatment

You can drive home and return to normal activities straight away. A small scab will form over the next few hours. We will give you full aftercare instructions before you leave.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Xanthelasma removal at our Wolverhampton clinic costs £85 per session. Larger or multiple patches may be treated in stages, which we will map out clearly at your consultation.

Xanthelasma are deposits of fat (cholesterol) under the skin of the eyelids. They can occur with normal cholesterol, but raised lipids make them more likely — which is why we suggest a GP lipid check.

Yes — honestly, xanthelasma can recur over time, particularly if cholesterol levels stay raised. Managing lipids with your GP reduces that risk, and recurring patches can be retreated.

Short Wave Diathermy uses a very fine probe and is well suited to precise work on the eyelid area. We stage larger patches for safety.

Most clients feel a brief warm sting. The eyelid area is sensitive, so we work carefully and in stages where needed.

Yes — suitable cases are assessed and treated in the same visit.

The eyelid area typically heals well, with scabs detaching within 7 to 14 days. We stage larger patches to keep healing as clean as possible.

Scabs fall away within 7 to 14 days and the eye area settles over the following weeks.

No referral is needed, though we do recommend a GP cholesterol check alongside treatment. If a growth has changed in colour, shape or size, bleeds easily, or we are not certain what it is, we will recommend a GP or dermatologist check before any cosmetic removal. Your safety always comes first.

We accept card, cash and contactless payment at the clinic. Your consultation and assessment are included in the session price.
